Project title: Collaboration Agreement between the Regional Ministry of Culture, Education, Vocational Training and Universities and the Universities of A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela and Vigo for the reinforcement of knowledge transfer and innovation management staff and the consolidation of research structures (2023–2026)
Funding period: 01/01/2023 – 31/12/2026
Principal Investigator / Research Centre: Vice‑Rectorate for Research and Knowledge Transfer
Workplace and working hours: Knowledge Transfer Office (OTC), ESCI • Monday to Friday, 08:00–15:00
Key responsibilities include
- Promotion and communication of UDC's research capabilities and resources through social media, the website, press releases, promotional materials, corporate branding, and other communication channels.
- Organisation of promotional events to enhance UDC's visibility and positioning by showcasing its research resources and capabilities.
- Attendance at conferences, workshops and trade fairs to promote UDC research activities and identify potential collaboration partners.
- Establishment of liaison with business clusters and industry associations, and identification of relevant collaboration partners.
- Identification and monitoring of funding opportunities for collaborative public‑private R&D; projects,
including analysis of funding calls, internal dissemination and support in proposal preparation.
- Collaboration in knowledge transfer activities and in securing competitive funding for R&D; carried out at UDC.
- Active participation in TransferUDC, the University’s internal network of knowledge transfer professionals.
- Collaboration in the collection and management of information related to research quality indicators.
The Knowledge Transfer Office (OTC) is the key unit responsible for fostering collaboration between the University of A Coruña and the productive sector. Its mission is to facilitate collaboration, promote innovation and enhance the value of research results to transform knowledge into social and economic benefits.
The contract may be funded, in whole or in part, by other projects or grants assigned to the Research Line, provided adequate and sufficient funding is available. The permanent contract is conditional upon the continued need for the duties assigned and the availability of funding; exhaustion of the allocated funding or completion of the technical activities will constitute objective grounds for termination.
Eligibility Requirements
- Higher education qualification officially recognised in Spain (Bachelor’s Degree, University Diploma, Engineering Degree, Architecture Degree, Technical Engineering Degree, Technical Architecture Degree or equivalent).
- Compliance with all eligibility requirements by the application deadline.
- Continuing fulfilment of the requirements set out in Article 8 of the Regulations governing the recruitment of research staff under Chapter 6 for research and knowledge transfer projects, grants and agreements, throughout the duration of the contract.
