The estimated duration of the initial activities is
2 months

1 November 2026 to 31 December 2026 ).
The successful candidate will carry out the following tasks:
Promote, support and advise on the creation, monitoring and consolidation of knowledge-based companies arising from UDC research results.
Analyse business projects and mentor business plans.
Monitor spin-offs and companies created from UDC research results, providing support in identifying partners and potential investors.
Implement the UDC
Rumbo EBC programme.
Assess and valorise UDC research results and identify suitable knowledge transfer mechanisms through initiatives such as
Transfiere ,
Ignicia and other programmes.
Deliver training to researchers on knowledge-based entrepreneurship.
Participate actively in the internal knowledge transfer professionals' network ( TransferUDC ).
Collaborate in gathering information related to research quality indicators.
Support the knowledge transfer activities carried out at UDC.
Project Description The Knowledge Transfer Office (OTC) is the key body connecting the University of A Coruña with industry and society. Its mission is to facilitate collaboration, foster innovation and maximise the value of research results, transforming knowledge into social and economic benefits.
One of the Office's main activities is the promotion of knowledge-based entrepreneurship through the creation of spin-off companies. The successful candidate will contribute to promoting these companies and supporting their creation and consolidation.
Contract funding The contract may be funded, wholly or partially, by any other project or grant assigned to the Research Line, including before the end of the initial funding period, provided that sufficient budget is available.
In accordance with Article 5 of Instruction 2/2025 of the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Knowledge Transfer, the validity of this permanent contract is subject to the continued need for the assigned duties and the availability of sufficient funding within the research line.
The exhaustion of the funding allocated to the research line, or the completion of the technical activities justifying the position without the possibility of reassignment, shall constitute an objective ground for termination of the contract under
Article 52 of the Spanish Workers' Statute .
A higher education degree officially recognised in Spain (Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, Engineering, Architecture, Technical Engineering or Technical Architecture).
