We are looking for a senior, high-impact Director of Sales to drive growth across key travel sellers' accounts in Europe. This role is designed for a commercially sharp leader with a strong personal network in the Travel industry (OTAs, Tour Operators, Bedbanks, B2B players, etc.), capable of opening doors, shaping complex deals,
and closing high-value partnerships on product areas like Data as a Service (DaaS) on hotel fares, as well as hotel content distribution. You will own the full sales cycle as an individual contributor, from opportunity creation through to deal closure.
Success in this role requires a combination of strategic selling, deep industry expertise, pure hunter attitude, and the ability to leverage an existing network. The role reports to the VP Europe Travel, and the strategy is to expand the customer vertical heavily in the next couple of years, so there will be possibilities to grow and become a team leader in the future. This is a 100% hunter role; after contract signature and successful onboarding, the customers will be nurtured by the customer success team.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and deliver sales targets across assigned strategic accounts in Europe.
Originate and develop new business opportunities primarily through personal network and industry relationships.
Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline of high-value opportunities with large travel sellers (OTAs, Leisure agencies, Tour Operators), and B2B players (Bedbanks, aggregators, B2B distributors).
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving C-level, commercial, IT, and procurement teams.
Position Data and Connectivity solutions as strategic enablers of revenue growth, distribution optimization, and operational efficiency.
Develop tailored value propositions aligned with each client’s commercial priorities and challenges.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams to align on messaging and ensure successful deal execution.
Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence to support product and go-to-market strategy. Requirements:
12+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a strong focus on hospitality technology (DaaS, Distribution, SaaS).
Proven track record of closing large,
complex deals with Travel sellers and clients.
Strong, active network within the European Travel ecosystem (OTAs, Leisure agencies, Tour Operators, Bedbanks, aggregators, B2B distributors).
Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline independently through relationships and outbound efforts.
Experience managing long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
Deep understanding of the Travel Tech landscape in Europe and key commercial drivers, including distribution, pricing, and revenue optimization.
Background in high-growth or scale-up SaaS environments is strongly preferred.
Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel (predominantly for customer-facing meetings and industry events). Core Skills & Competencies:
