As Director Business Development Europe you will scout for, evaluate and execute high-value, small molecule in-licensing deals to deliver Sandoz pipeline and augment our existing portfolio.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Identify and evaluate potential partners for small molecule products as per Integral and region Europe portfolio targets.
- Pro-actively scout for new product opportunities in line with region Europe focus areas and strategy.
- Negotiate with potential 3rd party development, license and supply partners to execute on opportunities identified, optimising deal type, timelines and other agreement conditions, to maximise deal value for Sandoz.




- Represent business development in global and regional growth initiatives and special projects and ensure they are supported through the execution of assigned activities.
- Ensure internal cross-functional deal alignment and due diligence in line with applicable internal policies and guidelines, involving all relevant stakeholders (e.g. Commercial Operations, Regulatory, Quality, Legal, Intellectual Property, TechOps, Finance, etc.)
- Develop business cases and communication for management approval of deals.
- Track and provide regular reporting on activities under responsibility in line with established reporting policies and manager’s requests
- Ensure all deals are executed according to Global Business Development processes and guidelines
- Establish/reinforce industry contacts and position Sandoz as ‘Global Partner of Choice’ with key partners
- BD Single Point of Contact and Alliance Management: develop close, trustful relationships with assigned BD partners and ensure alliance management governance is applied where applicable. Develop a deep
