SCHEDULE OF DUTIES FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF RESEARCH STAFF UNDER RESEARCH AND STRATEGIC RESEARCH LINES

The University of A Coruña (UDC), in its commitment to academic and research excellence, recognises the need to strengthen its capabilities in data management and analysis.
To this end, it seeks to expand the resources of the Data Analysis and Management Unit (AXD) in order to improve the efficiency of collecting, processing, analysing, and visualising institutional data related to research, development, and innovation (R&D;&I;).
The recruitment of a
Data Analysis and Management Support Officer
for the AXD Unit will strengthen the University's capacity to analyse research?related data, optimise the management and exploitation of institutional indicators, enhance the quality and efficiency of data?driven decision?making,
and support the preparation of technical reports that contribute to the implementation and monitoring of UDC's R&D;&I; strategy.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering

Applicants must meet, and continue to meet throughout the duration of the contract, the requirements established in Article 8 of the Regulations governing the recruitment of research staff under Chapter 6 for research projects, grants, and knowledge transfer agreements, both on the closing date for the submission of applications and for the entire duration of the employment contract.
General qualifications:
All degrees, diplomas, and certificates must be submitted in legible PDF format.
Professional experience:
Applicants must provide an up-to-date Employment History Report (Informe de Vida Laboral) together with the relevant employment contract(s) identifying the duties performed (or, in the case of self?employed applicants, proof of registration with the Special Scheme for Self?Employed Workers (RETA)), accompanied by a certificate or statement describing the tasks carried out.
Research projects:
Only certificates issued by the competent official authority (e.g. the Vice-Rectorate for Research or another body or person with the appropriate legal authority) will be accepted.
Language proficiency:
Language skills must be evidenced by an official certificate (e.g. CEFR, Cambridge, DELE, or the Official School of Languages (EOI)) or by an equivalent qualification recognised by the Selection Committee.
Exclusion notice:
Certificates or reference letters issued in a personal capacity by professors or Principal Investigators (PIs) will
not
be accepted.
Other Provisions
The position may remain
vacant
if no applicant obtains a score of more than 60 points.
Interview scores will not be taken into account
when determining whether the position should be declared vacant.
A
reserve list
will be established comprising applicants who are not selected by the Selection Committee.
This reserve list may be used in the event that the selected candidate declines the appointment or if their employment contract is terminated.
It may also be used for future recruitment processes with the same purpose.

The funding for this employment contract may be provided, in whole or in part, by any other project or grant assigned to the Research Line, including before the expiry of the initial funding period, provided that adequate and sufficient funding is available.
Pursuant to Article 5 of Instruction ****** of 17 March ****, issued by the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Knowledge Transfer, which regulates the registration of research and strategic lines and the recruitment of research staff funded through such research lines, the continuation of this open-ended employment contract is conditional upon the ongoing need for the duties associated with the position and the availability of adequate and sufficient funding within the relevant Research Line.
The exhaustion of the funding allocated to the Research Line, or the completion of the technical activities that justify the position, where reassignment to another suitable role is not possible, shall constitute an objective ground for termination of the employment contract, in accordance with Article 52(e) of the Spanish Workers' Statute (Estatuto de los Trabajadores).
