Job Description
To write specification of EMC design directives for A/C equipment installation and structural protection definition.
Definition of EMC / HIRF / LIE / LDE and ESD qualification requirements at equipment and system level.
Support to system designers and qualification follow up.
Revision of EMC testing results according to International Standards (civil and military), mainly Susceptibility and Emission Tests. Test results validation.
Support to equipment manufacturers in solving non-compliances. Proposing technical improvements and validating possible deviations.
Collaboration with manufacturing departments in the development of EMH protection of electrical harnesses against EMI
Support to airframe designers for metallization and electrical bonding structural protection techniques implementation.
EMC Tests:
Preparation of test plans and results to test execution at A/C level for intrasystem testing.
Support to the interpretation and analysis of results from testing to determine HIRF/LIE
