as **Director of Food & Beverage** at The Ritz-Carlton Abama Resort.
Who we are looking for
We are seeking a strategic and visionary hospitality leader with a passion for culinary excellence and luxury service. As Director of Food & Beverage, you will be responsible for defining and leading the overall F&B; strategy of the resort, ensuring a distinctive, profitable, and world-class gastronomic offering aligned with The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards.
Your leadership will be instrumental in inspiring multidisciplinary teams, elevating the guest experience, and reinforcing the resort’s positioning as an internationally recognized culinary destination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the comprehensive Food & Beverage strategy in alignment with the resort’s vision and The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards.
- Oversee all F&B; operations,
including restaurants, bars, banqueting, events, in-room dining, and specialty concepts.
- Ensure exceptional, innovative, and memorable dining experiences across all guest touchpoints.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and engagement.
- Drive financial performance through strategic budget management, cost control, revenue optimization, and inventory oversight.
- Analyze financial and guest satisfaction metrics, implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner closely with Marketing and Revenue Management to position and promote the resort’s culinary concepts.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, brand presentation, food safety regulations (HACCP), and legal requirements.
- Champion culinary innovation and emerging trends to strengthen the resort’s reputation and competitive edge.
- Lead recruitment, training, performance management, and succession planning within the F&B; division.
- Represent the resort at culinary events, strategic partnerships, and with key suppliers.
What we expect from you
- Proven experience as Director of Food & Beverage or Assistant Director of Food & Beverage in luxury hotels, high-volume resorts, or renowned gastronomic destinations.
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated P&L; management expertise.
- Inspirational leadership style with the ability to manage large, multicultural teams.
- In-depth knowledge of international culinary trends and diverse dining concepts.
- Strong results orientation with a commitment to operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages are highly valued.
- Valid work permit for Spain.
