The Noncoding RNA and Cancer Genome Lab, led by Maite Huarte, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will investigate the mechanisms of RNA regulation in cancer and explore their potential therapeutic applications. Our research sits at the intersection of long noncoding RNA biology, gene regulation, and disease mechanisms, all from a translational perspective. In this role, you will leverage advanced molecular biology techniques and cutting-edge transcriptomics to uncover how noncoding RNA drives malignancy, with the ultimate goal of developing novel RNA-targeted therapies.

What We Are Looking For
We want a passionate scientist who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The adecuado candidate should have:
- A PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Oncology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.




- A strong interest (and ideally experience) in RNA biology, gene regulation, cancer biology, and transcriptomics.
- Hands-on expertise in standard molecular biology techniques.
- Experience with high-throughput sequencing technologies (RNA-seq, single-cell transcriptomics) and basic bioinformatic data analysis is highly desirable.
- An innovative mindset and a drive to translate basic science discoveries into therapeutic solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
