Managing Director – Spain

We are seeking a dynamic, highly commercial, and vision-driven Managing Director for Spain to lead our operations from our office in Ceuta. In this executive role, you will hold ultimate accountability for the commercial success, operational efficiency, financial performance, and regulatory standing of our online gaming and sportsbook platform in the Spanish market.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Performance & Board Governance
- Full accountability for Spanish Commercial KPIs, driving detailed quarterly forecasting and defending financial performance, budget allocations, and strategic growth projections to the Executive Team and Board.
- Serve as a Board Member for the Spanish entity, contributing to corporate governance, strategic decision-making, and regulatory oversight.
- Continuously review internal workflows, vendor relationships, and resource allocation to ensure maximum operational efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.

- Team Leadership & Culture

- Directly lead, mentor and manage an on‑site team of marketing, compliance, operations and customer support roles, fostering a high‑performance culture.
- Build and maintain a strong company presence in Ceuta, aligning the office with regional operational hub requirements.

- Commercial Strategy & Marketing Execution

- Define and execute localized marketing strategy, driving acquisition, retention and branding campaigns tailored to Spanish player base.




- Act as the primary bridge between general marketing/product frameworks and local execution teams, ensuring seamless campaign implementation and brand consistency.
- Monitor and optimize core commercial KPIs to align with the brand’s strategy in Spain.

- Product Optimization & Localization

- Conduct ongoing competitive benchmarking of Sportsbook and Casino products against the Spanish market to identify UX friction points and content gaps.
- Translate local market gaps into business cases, liaising with global tech teams to prioritize Spanish product fixes.

Required Qualifications

- 7–10+ years of leadership experience in the online gaming (iGaming) or sportsbook industry, with deep knowledge of the Spanish market and Ceuta operational ecosystem.
- Proven track record managing, scaling and maintaining accountability for a team, with a strong focus on execution, accountability, and business performance.
- Strong background in driving modern iGaming commercial initiatives (commercial, CRM, marketing) and working with local teams to bring campaigns to life.
- Must be permanently based or willing to relocate to Ceuta, Spain, to attend local board meetings and manage the office on‑site.
- Native or fluent proficiency in Spanish and professional fluency in English.
