The Role

We’re looking for a Calibration & FFE/LSA Service Technician to join our team in Algeciras. Depending on your background, you’ll focus on one or more of the following: Calibration, Fire Fighting Equipment (FFE), and Life Saving Appliances (LSA). You don’t need to be a master of all three — we’ll align responsibilities with your strengths.

Key Responsibilities

- Service, inspection, and/or calibration of:
- Gas Detectors (Portable & Fixed)
- UTI units
- Pressure Gauges
- Temperature & Pressure Calibrators
- ODME / OWS units
- LSA (liferafts, lifeboats, etc.)
- FFE (fire extinguishers, SCBA, EEBD, etc.)
- Perform onboard ship inspections and equipment servicing
- Issue official certificates and job reports in line with service orders




- Ensure proper representation of Delmar Safety standards onboard and on site

Requirements

- English fluency is mandatory
- Spanish fluency is required
- Valid B class driving license
- Must live in or near Algeciras (We will not consider applications from another country; relocation from within EU is possible)
- Experience in calibration is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with onboard inspections or technical ship service work is a plus
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays if needed
- Open to international travel(mostly within EU) for service operations
- Professional attitude, reliability, and ability to follow procedures
- Relevant training and certification will be provided as needed
