**Healthcare Abroad in Denia** is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic **Junior Logistics Officer**to join our patient services team. **The Role**
As a Junior Logistics Officer,
you are the first point of contact for our patients.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Schedule & Appointment Coordination**
- **Patient Transport Scheduling**: Schedule all airport transfers for patients and their companions across designated locations such as Denia, Benidorm, and Alicante.
- **Medical Appointment Logistics**: Coordinate and schedule hospital appointments, physiotherapy sessions, and dressing changes for patients.
- **Clinical Team Liaison**: Provide the physiotherapy team with weekly trauma patient lists to facilitate early scheduling and bypass hospital delays.
**Fleet & Driver Support**
- **Roster Assistance**: Support driver management by assigning daily schedules and tracking driver hours to ensure operational coverage.
- **Vehicle Maintenance Monitoring**: Assist in monitoring vehicle usage and arranging for necessary repairs or routine maintenance as directed.
- **Resource Assignment**: Help assign specific vehicles to drivers and manage the rotation of the fleet based on daily demand.
- **Administrative Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of all logístical movements for daily reporting and compliance.
**What We’re Looking For**
- **Language Skills**: Fluent English and proficiency in Spanish.
- **Tech Savvy**:
Comfortable using basic Office tools and quick to learn new medical software.
- **Prioritization Under Pressure**: The ability to re-calculate schedules when a flight is delayed or a medical emergency arises without disrupting the rest of the day’s appointments.
- **Forecasting**: The analyse full logistic schedule and plan accordingly.
- **Spatial & Temporal Awareness**: Understanding how travel times between locations (Denia, Alicante, Benidorm, Malaga) affect driver availability.
