‘OKU’ is derived from the Japanese spiritual and architectural concept that means ‘inner space’. OKU Hotels is a boutique collection of soulfully curated, laid-back luxury hotels, created for the modern traveler. Each property is designed around barefoot luxury, local connection, and slow living.

OKU Hotels is headquartered in London, with current properties operating in Ibiza, Andalusia, and Kos, and a confirmed pipeline of hotels set to open in Turkey and the Maldives. OKU aims to own and/or operate a collection of over ten exquisite properties in new and captivating destinations worldwide over the next five years.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
•That you offer a perfect balance of exceptional comfort with first class service.

•Demonstrable work experience as a waiter or waitress using a tray.

•You will have the responsibility of serving guests in the rooms during the night shift, and performing other functions that are related to the position.

•Spoken English and Spanish (knowledge of other languages will be valued).

•POS management and experience in 5* hotels (very valuable).

•That you lead your work in accordance with the OKU philosophy.

•Flexibility to work in different shifts.

•Have fun and feel passionate about your work.

•Work permit to work in the EU / Ibiza.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

* Previous Experience: Experience in Room Service, Food & Beverage, or as a Runner in a luxury hospitality environment is highly desirable.
* Night Shift Adaptability: Ability and willingness to work consistent overnight shifts, maintaining high energy levels during late hours.

* Efficiency & Autonomy: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, often managing tasks independently or with a small night team.
* Communication: Fluent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude even during late-night interactions.
* Attention to Detail: High standards for tray/trolley presentation and room setup, ensuring a five-star experience arrives at the guest's door.
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES

* Guest-Oriented Mindset: Service-driven with a focus on discretion and respecting guest privacy during night hours.




* Proactive & Reliable: Strong sense of responsibility; being the face of the hotel when other outlets are closed.
* Calm Under Pressure: Ability to handle late-night requests or high-pressure periods with composure and elegance.
* Organization: Highly organized and capable of managing order timing and tray clearance schedules.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
* Understanding of restaurant service flow and coordination between kitchen and floor.
* Basic knowledge of food presentation standards.
* Awareness of hygiene and food safety standards.
* Ability to follow instructions and support operational procedures.
* Knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements is an advantage.

RESPONSABILIDADES DEL PUESTO

* Ofrecer un equilibrio perfecto entre un confort excepcional y un servicio de primera clase.
* Experiencia demostrable como camarero/a con manejo de bandeja.
* Responsabilidad de servir a los huéspedes en las habitaciones durante el turno de noche, además de realizar otras funciones inherentes al puesto.
* Dominio del inglés y español hablados (se valorará el conocimiento de otros idiomas).
* Manejo de TPV y experiencia previa en hoteles de 5* (muy valorable).
* Liderar tu trabajo diario de acuerdo con la filosofía OKU.
* Flexibilidad horaria para trabajar en diferentes turnos.
* Divertirte y sentir pasión por lo que haces.
* Permiso de trabajo vigente para la UE / Ibiza.

REQUISITOS DEL CANDIDATO/A

* Experiencia Previa: Se valorará muy positivamente la experiencia en Room Service, Alimentos y Bebidas (F&B;) o como Runner en entornos de hostelería de lujo.
* Adaptabilidad al Turno de Noche: Capacidad y disposición para trabajar de forma constante en horario nocturno, manteniendo altos niveles de energía durante la madrugada.
* Eficiencia y Autonomía: Capacidad para trabajar con agilidad en entornos dinámicos, gestionando tareas de forma independiente o con un equipo nocturno reducido.
