Almunecar International school is situated in a beautiful location between the mountains and the sea in the Costa Tropical between Malaga and Granada in Spain.

We are a small international school following the British curriculum but currently have a student population of 65% Spanish and a mixture of mostly English, Northern Europeans and Chinese making up the rest of the school population.

We are recruiting for the following teacher for a September start: an Early Years Foundation Stage or Primary class teacher (Native level English speaker). We seek an experienced, versátil and well-qualified professional who combines creative energy with the highest teaching standards. Above all we seek a real commitment to academic excellence. We require a B.Ed. or PGCE (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years relevant teaching experience and qualified teacher status (QTS)

All applicants must have a passion for teaching, at least two years teaching experience, qualified teacher status (QTS), a good working knowledge of latest UK practice and an
ENTITLEMENT TO LIVE AND WORK IN SPAIN e.g. Spanish residency or European passport.
