Agricultural Field Technician
based in
Carmona, Seville .
This role supports the delivery of seed development activities across field and nursery operations by:
Accountabilities
Planning and executing core agronomic operations—sowing, planting, sampling, harvesting, maintenance, and crop isolations—in field and nursery settings.
Recording and reporting agronomic data (flowering, diseases, and other key indicators) using Syngenta's operational tools and standards.
Supporting greenhouse operations in Carmona during off‑peak field periods, contributing to year‑round productivity.
Coordinating with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth information flow and alignment across the seed production cycle.
Supervising temporary field staff when required and actively contributing to process improvement and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
FP in any agricultural field;
Agricultural Engineering degree or equivalent.
Previous experience in field or greenhouse agricultural activities,



including crop management or seed-related operations.
Solid knowledge of agronomy;
basic understanding of plant breeding is a plus.
Familiarity with driving and handling agricultural machinery. Proficiency with standard IT tools (Microsoft Office).
Working level of English is required—this role involves regular written and verbal communication with international teams;
candidates will be assessed on English during the selection process.
