About MIMO
Si sus habilidades, experiencia y cualificaciones coinciden con las de esta descripción del puesto, no demore su solicitud.
MIMO Biosciences is a biotechnology company and spin-off from the University of Navarra, founded in 2024, focused on developing advanced human-relevant experimental models to improve the prediction of drug efficacy, safety, and translational outcomes in biomedical research. By leveraging unique genetically engineered murine systems, patient-derived xenograft (PDX) technologies, humanized mouse models, and organoid platforms, MIMO Biosciences aims to bridge the gap between preclinical discovery and clinical application.
The company collaborates with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, as well as top academic institutions, in the fields of hematological malignancies and immune disorders, from multiple myeloma, lymphoma and leukemia to autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
As MIMO Biosciences continues to expand, we are seeking talented and highly motivated scientists and postdoctoral fellows to join our multidisciplinary research team.
Position overview
We are seeking outstanding scientists to lead vigorous and innovative research projects focused on understanding the biological mechanisms that determine patient responses to immunotherapies and other targeted therapies in hematological malignancies and immune-mediated disorders.
Successful candidates will contribute to both basic and translational research programs using cutting-edge experimental systems, including genetically engineered mouse models, humanized immune system models, patient-derived xenografts (PDXs), organoids, and advanced immune profiling technologies.
Research projects will focus on:
Immunotherapy response and resistance mechanisms
T-cell and NK-cell biology
Tumor and immune microenvironment interactions
Autoimmune and inflammatory disorders
CAR T-cell and T-cell engager (TCE) therapies
Biomarker discovery and translational immunology
Multi-omics and computational approaches for patient stratification
The successful applicants will work closely with a collaborative team of scientists across hematology, immunology, oncology, molecular biology, bioinformatics, and translational medicine.
Required qualifications
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related disciplines. Candidates should demonstrate scientific creativity, productivity, and the ability to work independently in a highly collaborative environment. xhfqzwm
Required experience and technical skills:
Strong background in immunology and immune profiling
Experience with flow cytometry and multicolor immunophenotyping
T-cell and/or NK-cell functional assays
Mammalian tissue culture, including primary human and mouse cells
Experience with experimental animal models and animal handling procedures
Ability to independently design, execute, troubleshoot, and interpret experiments
Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge of humanized mouse models or PDX systems or humanized organoids
Experience with single-cell or multi-omics technologies
Bioinformatics or computational biology experience is considered a plus
Compensation and benefits:
MIMO Biosciences offers a highly competitive salary package commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with opportunities for scientific growth within a dynamic and rapidly expanding biotechnology company.
