G+D ePayments is looking for a **Procurement Engineer**, for a position based in Barcelona while working with the **global Procurement team**. **Your tasks**
- You drive the G+D relevant ESG strategies and activities with our suppliers, e.g. PCF calculations
- You support strategic purchasing with technical expertise, trends, technology and industry analyses in discussions and negotiations
- You are jointly contributing to the design and stringent implementation of product strategies and roadmaps with our suppliers
- You are the leading process owner for change notifications from our suppliers (Product Change Notification / Product Change Information)
- In close cooperation with the other functional departments, you manage the sourcing of sample materials
- You are the technical interface in Procurement for suppliers, R&D;, Product Management and Quality

**Your profile**
- You have completed a technical degree (physics, electrical engineering or similar) or comparable training, ideally with a focus on semiconductors
- Your first relevant experience in a technical environment and confidence in using tools is desirable




- You have successfully demonstrated your strong analytical judgment and the ability to reliably solve complex issues in global and cross-functional teams in the past
- Availability to travel approximately once per quarter
- Fluent English language skills
