JOB TITLE: Cybersecurity Engineer (IT Systems & Security Administration)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time
LOCATION: Spain, Cáceres Province, Malpartida de Plasencia
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity and IT infrastructure specialist to support, maintain, and secure enterprise systems. The role combines system administration, network security, and regulatory compliance within a European cybersecurity framework.

Responsibilities
Perform daily risk assessments and incident reporting
Manage and maintain secure network protocols (SSH, VPN)
Administer authentication and authorization systems (SSL, LDAP, SSO, 2FA)
Work with cryptography fundamentals, certificates, and key management
Ensure compliance with European cybersecurity regulations (RED DA, CRA)
Administer Microsoft 365 (user access, cost optimization, backups)
Manage domains, DNS, and MX records
Oversee third-party software, licenses, and license servers
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of services





Requirements
~3+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure security or cybersecurity
~ Experience with system and network security, including Microsoft 365 administration
~ Strong skills in risk assessment, privilege analysis, and configuration auditing
~ Knowledge of authentication systems, cryptography, and secure communication protocols
~ Experience with domains, DNS, and email routing
~ Ability to monitor systems and respond to security incidents
~ Understanding of European regulations (RED DA, CRA)
~ Good communication skills in an international environment
~ Fluent in English
~ Willingness to work full-time in an office
~ Willingness to relocate to SPAIN (Malpartida de Plasencia, Cáceres) if not locally based
