About the Role
Guydeez is looking for passionate locals in Vigo to join our international network as freelance tour guides. You’ll lead private, personalized walking tours for small groups, helping visitors discover Vigo’s culture, history, neighborhoods, and hidden gems. No professional guide license is required — enthusiasm, local knowledge, and a friendly, engaging personality are what matter most.
What You’ll Do
- Host private walking tours (3–8 hours) across Vigo
- Share stories, cultural insights, and historical highlights
- Adapt each tour to guests’ interests, pace, and language
- Ensure a professional, welcoming, and memorable experience
- (Optional) Lead food-focused or culinary-themed tours
Who We’re Looking For
- Strong knowledge of Vigo’s neighborhoods, attractions, and history
- Fluent in at least one of: Spanish, French, English, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Chinese
- Outgoing, friendly, and confident communicator
- Comfortable leading tours lasting several hours
- Bonus:
passion for local cuisine or gastronomic experiences
- Previous guiding or hospitality experience is helpful, but not required
