Barcelona, Barcelona provinciaJob DescriptionThe purpose of this role is to expand "Hotel"acquisition programme in selected destinations by signing new "Hotel"contracts for lastminute online distribution.To support end-to-end "Hotel"activation process together with "Hotel"Operation and other teams within the company.To handle Purchasing Operations for room night stocks.The role is responsible to research and provides the best "Hotel"inventory to the companys portfolio, run Market research and prospects, negotiate and sign company "Hotel"contracts with new suppliers, both Individual or Chain hotels, as per company Terms and Conditions. In addition, she/he will be responsible to support new contracted hotels once they are on sale,
together with Market Managers, for wider distribution needs, including extranet training or pricing and availability competitiveness needs.We are proposing 12 months Fix Term contract and potentially extending duration, subject to target achievements.MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for all elements, external and internal within "Hotel"acquisition processTo develop excellent relationships at the "Hotel"level, both independents and chainsSecure and negotiates competitive "Hotel"rates availability via fixed allocation / otherSecure and negotiates competitive promotions for specific rate typesCreate and execute contracting plans to meet market demand and company goalsCo-ordinates set live processes within the company and "Hotel"partnersAttends Contracting workshops / Trade Shows to achieve company "Hotel"contracting goalsUses business intelligence data to track competitiveness and compliance weekly, monthlyTroubleshoots operational issues within "Hotel"Activation Process and conducts extranet trainingTimely feedback regarding market trends and product needsExtensive travel needs (50-60% time)QualificationsEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONSEssentialMust be educated to A level or equivalent standardDesirableFurther or tertiary education in a travel, tourism or related areaSPECIALIST/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, APTITUDEEssentialHighly organized and analyticalStrong negotiation skillsCollaboration skillsClear understanding of Channel Managers solutions.
