Your work-life opportunity:
Glovo is looking for an Operations Analyst to work in our Barcelona office . Are you passionate, proactive, data-driven and hands-on? Do you want to evolve in one of the fastest growing Start-ups of Barcelona,
building a product that will change people's day-to-day and disrupt the on-demand market?
Be a part of a team where you will:
- Perform analysis to come up with some insights to help reduce the impact of fraud of our fleet and cash inefficiencies in our countries
- Deep dive into Glovo operational metrics and processes to understand behavioral patterns of the couriers and the areas for improvement
- Be the owner of the fleet management process, making sure we build scalable solutions and tools
- Build processes to minimize the risk of fraud from couriers’ as well as reactive solutions
- Understand the operations model and tools we have in Glovo to provide advice and support to the local teams
- Roll out the tools you build to different markets, adapting them to local needs
- Track the impact of all the new implementations that you have proposed
- Work close with the tech team and roll out the new features
- Act as a consultant and advisor to regional and local teams on cash operations best practices, building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference
You have:
- Bachelor in Engineering, Mathematics or any technological domain
- Passionate about analytics: you enjoy deep diving into problems to find the root cause
- Problem-solving skills: no problem is too small or too big
- Excel and Google Sheets proficiency
- Proficient in SQL and Python
- Professional English
- 2 years of previous experience in analytics, operations or similar
- Hands-on:
you are willing to get your hands dirty and are looking to bring your ideas to life and find a way to get things done
- You are able to act as an owner for complex projects that impact global, strategic business roadmaps & operations
- You have an amazing attention to detail and a great appetite to learn
- Good communication skills: you are able to manage various stakeholders and know to structure the information
- Strong drive for continuous improvement
- An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
