Overview

As a Data Engineer in Sanofi’s Manufacturing & Supply Digital unit, you will help build the data foundations for an AI-first company, turning data into actionable insights to accelerate medicines and vaccines. You’ll work in cross-functional pods within the AI Factory, delivering scalable data products for data scientists, analysts, and business users. You’ll shape data pipelines and governance to enable rapid analytics, while contributing to a broad digital transformation across the organization. Responsabilidades
- Propose and establish technical designs aligning with business and technical requirements
- Build, optimize and maintain data and ETL pipelines, ensuring production readiness
- Gather and organize large, complex data assets and analyze them to unlock business value
- Partner with business and product teams to translate needs into technical solutions
- Promote best practices in code management, automated testing, CI/CD and deployments




- Coach fellow data engineers and conduct peer reviews to ensure quality and rigor
- Create clear documentation for knowledge transfer, training and maintenance
- Contribute to the Data Engineering community by defining leading practices and frameworks
- Communicate results clearly to stakeholders while upholding data quality, security and governance standards

Requisitos principales
- 6+ Years of experience in data engineering, integration, data warehousing or BI
- Life sciences or pharma experience is a plus
- Spark/Scala, Informatica/IICS or dbt; Python and shell scripting; strong SQL and data modeling
- Cloud data platforms (Snowflake is a plus); orchestration tools (Airflow is a plus); GitHub is a plus
- Experience with batch, near real-time and streaming data ingestion; knowledge of data warehouse concepts (data mesh is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Fluent English; other languages a plus
