As Staff System Architect at Siemens, you define the end-to-end platform for a complex, multi-service environment delivering real-time intelligence for product transparency and vulnerability operations. You lead architecture decisions and influence cross-team alignment without direct reports, shaping the roadmap and migrations for scalable, secure systems. You design components, data models, APIs, and security boundaries while balancing performance, resilience, and cloud cost. You stay hands-on with prototypes or code reviews to resolve uncertainties and communicate architecture to engineering, security, and management. Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Own the target architecture and roadmap, including migrations for systems that cannot be switched off
• Translate enterprise architecture into system designs with the Principal Key Expert Enterprise Architect
• Design component and data architecture with serverless, containerized, and managed cloud services
• Define APIs and integration interfaces with clear ownership and SLAs
• Define data ownership, boundaries, and versioned interfaces
• Architect security and identity, including role-based access and auditability by design




• Set non-functional targets (performance, availability, scale, cost) and justify data store choices
• Record decisions, perform build-versus-buy analyses, and maintain trustworthy documentation
• Lead technically across teams by reviewing designs, prototyping risky parts, and explaining architecture

Responsabilidades
• Experience: 10+ years in software engineering and architecture across multiple systems
• Architecture practice: ADRs, C4 or similar, threat modeling, capacity planning, PoC-led build-versus-buy
• Distributed systems and integration: event-driven design, resilience patterns, versioned REST/OpenAPI
• Data architecture: relational, document, xghoner graph, search, analytical stores; large-scale data modeling
• Security architecture: RBAC/ABAC, identity federation and SSO, least-privilege IAM, secrets management
• AWS and operations: cost-aware multi-service AWS designs with Terraform or CDK; SLOs and observability
• Hands-on engineering: production experience in Go, Java, Kotlin, C#, Rust, Python, or TypeScript
• Technical leadership without authority: guiding teams, resolving cross-team disputes, English proficiency
