We are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead technical development across a portfolio of AI-powered mobile applications in a fast-growing product environment. This hands-on leadership role combines full-stack engineering, cloud infrastructure, security, data, and AI integration, with end-to-end ownership of complex technical challenges. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape technical decisions, launch new products, and ensure scalable, reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

- Lead technical development across mobile applications, backend services, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Design and improve system architecture, infrastructure efficiency, and engineering standards across products.
- Implement security measures, data privacy practices, and reliable data pipelines to support product and business operations.
- Integrate AI models into applications and develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Drive technical delivery from initial product development through launch and large-scale growth, resolving challenges across different engineering domains.
- Recruit and develop engineering teams, collaborating with product, design, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.

Requirements

- Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related technical discipline,



with strong hands-on full-stack expertise across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing technical projects end to end, including building products from scratch and scaling applications for large user bases.
- Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, system performance, security, data privacy, and data infrastructure, with the ability to work across technologies such as Flutter, TypeScript, GCP, and SQL.
- Practical experience integrating AI models, implementing automation, and quickly adapting to unfamiliar technologies and technical challenges.
- Experience recruiting engineers, establishing engineering standards, and making independent technical decisions, combined with strong communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
- Valuable: Experience in fast-growing startups, subscription-based mobile applications, consumer digital products, or hands-on mobile development with Flutter. Spanish language skills are an advantage.
