Experteer Overview As IT Service Owner in Madrid, you will own the operational health and performance of a business-critical Java/Jakarta EE ecosystem. You’ll coordinate with stakeholders, development and infrastructure teams, and external providers to ensure reliable operations, timely incidents resolution, and smooth releases. You’ll drive continuous service improvement and a proactive, risk-aware operational mindset. - Own operational performance, availability, stability, and continuous improvement of the application landscape
- Manage major incidents, problem management, RCA, and service restoration
- Serve as primary contact for business stakeholders on service health and risks
- Coordinate L3 support and collaborate with development on complex investigations
- Monitor applications, interfaces, jobs, and integrations for day-to-day reliability
- Lead troubleshooting across upstream/downstream systems and external dependencies
- Coordinate deployments, configuration changes, and production releases using delivery processes
- Coordinate Disaster Recovery exercises, security tests, and production readiness reviews




- Support database refresh, data anonymization, and non-production environment management
- Drive service improvements via monitoring, trend analysis, automation, and best practicesResponsabilidades
- Proven experience in IT Service Owner, Application Manager, Application Support Lead, or Service Management
- Strong understanding of Java/Jakarta EE platforms, application servers, and Oracle databases
- Experience managing incident, problem, and change management in complex environments
- Hands-on monitoring experience with tools like Splunk, Tivoli Monitoring, or similar
- Experience coordinating application releases, deployments, and environment management
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across application, integration, database, and infrastructure layers
- Effective stakeholder management and clear communication with technical and business audiences
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams during incidents and critical production activities
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize multiple operational activities
