Freelance Full-Stack Node.Js Developer – EV Charging PlatformFreelance | Fully Remote | Part-time | Ongoing contract | Start 31st October (adaptable)We’re looking for an experienced Full-Stack Node.Js Developer to provide ongoing technical support, maintenance and security improvements for an established EV charging platform.The platform is currently hosted on Digital Ocean, using Citrine OS and Hasura, and supports a small but operational network of approximately 30 EV chargers.This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable taking ownership of an existing application, troubleshooting technical issues, managing updates and ensuring the platform remains secure, stable and reliable.The initial requirement is relatively light-touch, with ad hoc support as needed, but there is potential for the project to grow as the charging network expands.What you'll be doing: Maintaining and supporting an existing EV charging platform built using Node.Js technologiesManaging and troubleshooting the platform's Digital Ocean hosting environmentSupporting the existing Citrine OS interface and Hasura database infrastructureIdentifying, diagnosing and resolving bugs, technical issues and performance problemsImplementing security updates, patches and improvements to protect the platformMaintaining and optimising back-end services,



APIs and database integrationsSupporting software updates, upgrades and ongoing platform improvementsReviewing the existing technical infrastructure and recommending improvements to reliability, security and scalabilityProviding occasional technical support as required, with potential to support future platform expansion What you’ll bring: Proven experience maintaining, troubleshooting and improving existing production applicationsExperience working with cloud hosting environments, ideally Digital OceanKnowledge of Hasura, Graph QL and database managementStrong understanding of API integrations and back-end infrastructureExperience implementing application security, vulnerability fixes and software updatesAbility to independently investigate and resolve technical issuesUnderstanding of cloud infrastructure, deployment processes and application monitoringExperience working with existing codebases and taking ownership of ongoing technical maintenance Ideally, familiarity with Citrine OS, OCPP protocols or EV charging infrastructure If you're a Full-Stack Node.Js Developer who enjoys maintaining and improving existing platforms, solving technical challenges and supporting innovative technology in the EV charging sector,#J-18808-Ljbffr
