The Cybersecurity Engineer will act as a key contributor across both security operations and compliance activities. The successful candidate will help improve the organization's security posture, coordinate security-related activities with external partners, and support the implementation and maintenance of security controls. The company is currently strengthening its cybersecurity and compliance capabilities as part of its growth strategy. What You'll Be Doing
* Support and maintain ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance initiatives.
* Identify security gaps and recommend remediation actions.
* Coordinate with the external SOC provider.
* Participate in incident response and escalation management.
* Support security governance, risk management and control implementation.
* Collaborate with infrastructure and IT teams on security improvements.
* Produce security documentation, procedures and incident reports.
* Act as a trusted point of contact for cybersecurity matters across the business. Essential
* 5+ years of cybersecurity experience.
* Strong exposure to ISO 27001 security controls.
* Experience supporting or implementing SOC 2 requirements.
* Background in Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Detection or SOC environments.
* Ability to assess security risks and drive mitigation actions.
* Experience working with stakeholders and managing escalations.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
