You will join an international and innovative environment, where you will lead the management, optimization and security of the databases that support our critical operations. Your mission will be to ensure the availability, integrity and optimal performance of database systems, working closely with development and infrastructure teams to drive efficiency and technological innovation. Primary Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain complex and mission-critical database systems Develop and execute backup and recovery plans to ensure information integrity and availability Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks and apply advanced optimization strategies Manage database security, including access controls, encryption, and regulatory compliance Collaborate with development teams to define efficient data structures and optimize SQL queries Perform updates, patches and migrations while minimizing the impact on services Resolve performance issues and problems proactively and effectively Develop and maintain technical documentation and operating procedures Keep up to date on new technologies, trends and best practices in database administration Provide mentoring and technical support to junior database administrators and other team members Your Profile We are looking for an Expert Database Administrator with extensive professional experience in database management, optimization, and security. The ideal candidate should have a solid educational background in Computer Engineering or Information Technology, strong language skills in Spanish, and 5-7 years of experience managing complex database systems including Oracle, SQL Server, My SQL, and Postgre SQL. Advanced SQL expertise, performance tuning capabilities,



and knowledge of backup, recovery, and high availability solutions are essential. Must Have Skills Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related area High level of Spanish language proficiency5-7 years of experience as a database administrator in complex business environments Mastery of Oracle database systems Mastery of SQL Server database systems Mastery of My SQL and/or Postgre SQL database systems Strong experience in advanced SQLStrong experience in scripting for automation Demonstrated experience in database performance tuning and optimization Experience in backup, recovery and high availability In-depth knowledge in database security, encryption and access management Experience in data modeling and relational architecture design Knowledge of monitoring and troubleshooting tools Experience in successful migrations and upgrades Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations (GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.)Familiarity with databases in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Excellent analytical skills Excellent problem resolution skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work in dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities Nice to Have Skills Catalan language proficiency Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate certification About Us T-Systems is part of the Deutsche Telekom group, with around 30,000 employees worldwide.
