Experteer Overview As a Principal Consultant, you will originate and lead innovative intralogistics automation solutions that integrate hardware, software and operational processes. You will validate concepts for technical and commercial feasibility and guide them from idea to market introduction. Your work spans end-to-end customer solutions, influencing global strategy and collaborating with senior stakeholders. - Own development of innovative automation solutions addressing customer, operational and market needs
- Analyze customer data and business requirements to set design criteria
- Determine integration of technology within broader intralogistics solutions
- Assess feasibility (technical, operational, commercial) before commitments
- Compare alternative concepts on performance, scalability, integration and value
- Lead design principle decisions and technology selection for solutions
- Define solution architectures with modules, multi-technology assemblies, software and third-party capabilities
- Develop conceptual layouts and operating descriptions detailing how the solution works
- Lead simulation and testing to validate assumptions and feasibility
- Identify design challenges and risks early, with evidence-based mitigation plans
- Lead technical design reviews and present recommendations to stakeholders
- Identify portfolio gaps and provide development/partnership/make-or-buy recommendations




- Define Product Development requirements while ensuring overall solution integrity
- Establish repeatable design principles applicable across regions
- Share expertise with Solution Development, Sales, Engineering and global teamsResponsabilidades
- Extensive experience in warehouse automation, material handling, intralogistics or equivalent sector
- Demonstrated record as a technical or solution-design SME
- Proven ownership of new automation solutions from opportunity to market introduction
- Led the solution personally, not just as a team member
- Expert understanding of how automation technologies interact in end-to-end solutions (mechanical, controls, software, operations)
- Strong experience translating customer/operational data into design criteria and credible solutions
- Experience evaluating emerging technologies for safe, effective, and commercial applicability
- Solid understanding of feasibility, system integration, performance, risk and ROI
- Experience leading technical design reviews and defending complex recommendations
- Ability to anticipate objections and address them before presenting
- Experience influencing decisions across international, cross-functional organisations without direct authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication for senior, technical and non-technical audiences
