Duties and Responsibilities

- Have thorough knowledge of the Spa menu and be able to perform all face and body treatments in accordance with Six Senses Spa standards, ensuring quality and consistency.

- Perform specialized treatments with expertise, mentoring and supporting junior therapists where required.

- Ensure treatment rooms are properly set up, fully stocked and maintained according to brand standards, delegating tasks effectively when necessary.

- Request, record and monitor the stock of supplies required for treatment rooms, identifying procurement needs proactively.

- Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to guests at all times, offering welcome drinks and other menu offerings when required.

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and hygiene throughout the Spa and treatment rooms, conducting regular checks to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.

- Ensure all Spa equipment is properly maintained and kept in safe working condition.

- Uphold and enforce Six Senses guidelines,



operational procedures and service standards, ensuring performance benchmarks are consistently met and exceeded.

- Strictly adhere to LQA standards, using guest feedback and audit results to continuously improve service delivery and support team performance.

- Interact with guests and hosts in a professional, courteous and positive manner, proactively seeking feedback and using guests' names whenever possible. Ensure an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure.

- Handle guest complaints effectively, implementing appropriate service recovery measures or involving the relevant hosts to ensure guest satisfaction. Escalate critical issues to management when necessary.

- Record guest comments and suggestions, reviewing feedback and identifying opportunities to enhance the guest experience.

- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Spa facilities, services and treatment areas, including their location and layout, as well as the hotel's policies regarding guaranteed reservations and no-shows.

- Monitor and record product recommendations made to guests, tracking sales performance and contributing to the Spa retail strategy.

- Complete all required documentation, controls and reports accurately and on time, including stock reports, daily logs, guest comments and lost & found records.





- Conduct and supervise stock counts of retail and professional products, ensuring accurate inventory management and monitoring product usage to identify opportunities for optimization.

- Promote and upsell Spa, fitness and wellness activities, leading by example and motivating the team to achieve sales targets.

- Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and training sessions, sharing knowledge, insights and feedback with colleagues and supervisors.

- Act as a role model for service excellence, mentoring and supporting team members in developing their skills and achieving performance objectives.

- Ensure that all established policies, procedures and best practices are implemented and consistently followed.

- Maintain high standards of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene, together with comprehensive knowledge of safety, security and emergency procedures, in accordance with brand and statutory requirements.

- Ensure all activities are carried out ethically, honestly and in compliance with local laws and regulations.

- Perform any additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the Spa Supervisor and/or Director of Wellness.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Spa Therapist, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar luxury spas and health clubs with proven references. Hospitality diploma/degreefrom a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
