SAP Payroll Consultant (PY-DE) | German Payroll

Camarade is looking for SAP Payroll Consultants with strong hands‑on experience in German Payroll for multiple implementation projects.

Open to Senior and Lead Consultants.

Key Responsibilities

- SAP Payroll configuration for Germany (PY-DE)
- Configure and maintain wage types, schemas and payroll rules
- Gather and understand payroll requirements
- Support workshops and discussions with clients
- Carry out testing and support UAT and payroll validation
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues
- Support cutover, go-live and hypercare
- Work alongside other SAP Payroll, HR and technical consultants
- For more experienced consultants, take ownership of workstreams and support/guide other consultants





Requirements

- Hands‑on experience with SAP Payroll configuration (PY-DE)
- Good knowledge of German payroll, tax and statutory requirements
- Experience with schemas and rules
- Previous SAP Payroll implementation or transformation experience
- Comfortable working independently and with clients
- Business-level proficiency in English and German
- Location: Germany / Remote
- Engagement: Full-time, Contract / Permanent
- Focus: SAP Payroll configuration and implementation
