The team is enabling the small molecule and biologics pipeline from discovery up to preclinical development, and is co-responsible for delivery of high quality therapeutic drug candidates with a high potential for success in clinical development.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include but are not limited to:Perform in vivo studies to answer scientific questions and to characterize MoA and efficacy of compounds including new drug candidatesPerform a variety of routine laboratory experiments and procedures, using state of the art laboratory equipment, recording and checking results for completeness and accuracyPlan and initiate established and new experimental approaches with a high level of independenceAnalyse and interpret experimental results and prepare reports/presentationsAssist team members in planning and execution of experimentsWork in a matrixed,



fast paced highly collaborative environment with shared responsibilitiesEffectively communicate within and across teams.Carry out all laboratory activities in compliance with applicable regulations and protocols.Conduct literature searches and reviews, compiling information for journals and suggest uses for new techniques to the team.Maintain records of results and methodologies in electronic laboratory notebook.Maintain equipment, lab area and supplies in a neat professional mannerAttend courses, lectures and conferences to further own knowledge on research and laboratory techniques, consulting with other researchers to exchange information.Contribute to an enriching, positive and inclusive lab environment.Education & ExperienceBs of science and experience in a research lab.EU license to work in procedures and projects on laboratory animal science or equivalent is a plusProficiency in mouse handling and dosingAbility to independently conduct tissue sample processing and analysis from rodents and/or minipigs using state of the art technologiesExcellent aseptic cell culture technique for handling human and murine primary cells and transformed cell linesIdeally experience in RT-PCR, ELISA, Flow Cytometry and Western Blot techniques.Ideally experience in state of the art immunology techniques to support isolation and ex vivo analysis of cells from animal tissues or human skin samples is a plus.Preferred Skills & Competences Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. xghoner Proficiency in the use of software tools to support data analysis (e.
