Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement and maintain complex and mission-critical database systemsDevelop and execute backup and recovery plans to ensure information integrity and availabilityMonitor database performance, identify bottlenecks and apply advanced optimization strategiesManage database security, including access controls, encryption, and regulatory complianceCollaborate with development teams to define efficient data structures and optimize SQL queriesPerform updates, patches and migrations while minimizing the impact on servicesResolve performance issues and problems proactively and effectivelyDevelop and maintain technical documentation and operating proceduresKeep up to date on new technologies, trends and best practices in database administrationProvide mentoring and technical support to junior database administrators and other team membersYour ProfileWe are looking for an Expert Database Administrator with extensive professional experience in database management, optimization, and security. The adecuado candidate should have a solid educational background in Computer Engineering or Information Technology, strong language skills in Spanish,



and 5-7 years of experience managing complex database systems including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Advanced SQL expertise, performance tuning capabilities, and knowledge of backup, recovery, and high availability solutions are essential.
