Job Description
We are currently recruiting a German-Speaking Customer Engineer for an international technology project in Barcelona, Spain. You'll combine technical expertise with consultative sales skills, helping partners and sales teams evaluate cloud solutions and design scalable architectures that deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities
Work with partners and sales teams to define technical requirements and identify barriers to cloud adoptionRecommend scalable future-state architectures aligned with customer needsBuild prototypes, demos and integration examples to support solution evaluationsAct as the key technical resource, handling technical questions, objections and blockers throughout the sales cycleAdvise on integration strategy, enterprise architecture and application infrastructureDeliver technical briefings, whiteboard sessions and product presentationsMaintain accurate opportunity records in Salesforce and document sales-stage deliverablesComplete required product training and certifications on scheduleRequirementsFluent GermanBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field,



or equivalent practical experience5+ years in technical sales engineering in cloud computing, or a comparable customer-facing role in professional services or systems engineeringExperience with Big Data, PaaS and IaaS, plus hands‑on database experienceKnowledge of data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Impala, Spark SQL or BigQueryWorking knowledge of Linux, web technologies and protocols (HTTP, authentication, XML, HTML)Understanding of enterprise networking (DNS, TCP, firewalls, proxies, DMZs)Web development and integration experience (REST, SOAP, Python, JavaScript, PHP or similar)Strong communication and presentation skills; proactive and able to work independentlyWhat
