Skills:
Ability to explain project architecture and the business problems addressed in depth.
Ability to independently clarify ambiguous requirements, define metrics, address concurrency and edge cases, and articulate technical trade-offs.
Hard Skills / Must Have:5+ years of production backend engineering experience and complex product development.
Strong Go expertise: concurrency, synchronization, context propagation, goroutine lifecycle management, and graceful shutdown.
Experience with high-load distributed systems and microservice architecture.
Strong SQL and data modelling: schema design, joins, indexes, query analysis, replication, partitioning, and sharding.
Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL and Redis caching strategies.
Sync/async inter-service communication using gRPC and message brokers, including delivery guarantees and idempotency.
Observability: metrics, logging, tracing, alerting, and Go profiling.
Understanding of NFRs, SLA/SLO/SLI, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
Maintainable, testable code; unit/integration testing; Git and code review workflows.




Hard Skills / Nice to Have:Event-driven architecture experience with Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ.
Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or Pulumi.
Performance profiling and optimisation of Go services.
Familiarity with Figma, cross-platform collaboration, and AI-assisted development tools.
Responsibilities and Tasks:Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and features.
Drive technical research, architecture design, and implementation.
Collaborate across teams, conduct reviews, and contribute to architectural discussions.
Own service delivery, production monitoring, maintenance, and observability.
