Relevant Working Experience

- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in supermarket, minimart, convenience store or retail operations.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or retail management position will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with daily retail operations, inventory management and cashiering procedures.

Store Operations Management

- Able to oversee and manage the daily operations of the minimart to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
- Ensure the store is properly organised, clean, well-stocked and maintained at all times.
- Monitor store opening and closing procedures and ensure compliance with operational standards.

Inventory & Stock Management

- Experienced in stock monitoring, inventory control and replenishment.
- Monitor product expiry dates, damaged goods and stock discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers on product orders, deliveries and stock replenishment.
- Minimise stock wastage, shrinkage and inventory losses.

Staff Supervision & Leadership

- Possess good leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to supervise and lead a team of retail staff.
- Prepare staff schedules, allocate daily duties and monitor staff attendance and performance.
- Ensure adequate manpower coverage during operating hours.

Customer Service & Sales Management





- Maintain a high standard of customer service and handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
- Monitor daily sales performance and identify opportunities to improve store sales.

Cashiering & POS Management

- Familiar with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and daily cashiering operations.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and daily sales reporting.
- Monitor cashier transactions and ensure proper cash management procedures are followed.

Compliance & Store Safety

- Ensure compliance with relevant Singapore regulatory requirements and company operating procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping, workplace safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure products requiring specific licences or regulatory controls are handled and sold in accordance with applicable regulations.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory management.
- Proficient in basic computer operations, POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Able to work independently and handle operational challenges.
- Responsible, proactive, hands‑on and detail-oriented.
- Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
