Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead technical design and delivery of HV/EHV overhead transmission lines across international projects, applying advanced modeling and multidisciplinary coordination. You will act as a technical authority, mentoring engineers and ensuring high-quality outputs aligned with client specifications and standards. You’ll work within a integral Transmission u0026amp; Distribution team to support expansion, reinforcement, and modernization of electrical networks. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position at a world‑leading infrastructure firm driving the energy transition.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Lead engineering of HV/EHV overhead transmission lines (110kV–400kV+)
• Develop and review route alignments, tower spotting, conductor selection and insulation coordination
• Lead advanced modelling and design using PLS-CADD; perform complex design studies
• Coordinate with civil teams on tower loading and foundation design
• Perform electrical and mechanical transmission line calculations (sag-tension, conductor blowout, clearances, thermal ampacity, corona,
shielding)
• Lead project work packages and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
• Support technical proposals, fee estimates, and resource planning
• Review drawings, models and reports; mentor engineers; promote engineering excellence
• Provide construction site support (tower erection, stringing, field design adjustments)
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering
• Typically 10+ years in overhead transmission line engineering
• Proven HV/EHV project experience (110kV–400kV+)
• Advanced experience with PLS-CADD; practical with TOWER; construction support experience
• Experience across feasibility to construction phases; strong English communication
