As CDD Team Lead, you will steer the Barcelona-based CDD/Onboarding team, guiding complex KYC/KYB/EDD cases and ensuring fast yet compliant onboarding for institutional clients. You will collaborate with Sales, Legal, Product, and MLROs across Thunes’ licensed entities to balance risk management with a seamless onboarding experience. You’ll own complex case work and mentor analysts, shaping the program for high-risk customers in a fast-growing payments network. This role offers strategic impact by aligning risk controls with business growth in a global scale-up context.

• Manage workflow and SLAs to balance speed with risk rigor in onboarding decisions
• Perform QA u0026 4-eyes reviews for complex files and ensure consistent analyst outcomes
• Track capacity, pipeline, and KPIs; provide insights to Integral KYC Director
• Oversee complex case ownership (UBO tracing, high-risk corporate structures) and conduct deep-dive due diligence




• Execute EDD and assess AML/CTF controls for regulated partners
• Apply policy alignment with Risk Appetite, Class of Trade, and High-Risk Country lists
• Prepare structured risk summaries for governance escalations and liaise with cross-functional teams
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and remediation efforts related to onboarding files

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of KYC/KYB/CDD experience in FinTech, cross-border payments, merchant acquiring, or international corporate banking
• 1-2 years in a team lead, senior specialist, or supervisory role
• Deep expertise in institutional and corporate onboarding, UBO tracing, and NBFI/PSP risk profiles
• Hands-on experience with core AML/KYC platforms and screening tools
• Strong analytical and pragmatic mindset balancing compliance with business needs
• ACAMS (CAMS), ICA, or equivalent AML qualification preferred
• Full professional proficiency in English; other languages a plus
