Overview

As a Senior GNSS Engineer at GMV, you will contribute to Galileo and SouthPAN GNSS projects, developing tools to test services, monitor systems, and experiment with Galileo evolutions. You’ll analyze performance, validate signal quality, and investigate anomalies, shaping next-generation capabilities for satellite navigation. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technical results for institutional clients and stakeholders. This role offers international collaboration, research-driven impact, and hands-on work with cutting-edge GNSS technologies.

Responsabilidades

- Define and conduct performance analyses of Galileo and other GNSS systems under nominal and campaign conditions
- Evaluate signal quality and service performance using reference data and GNSS products
- Develop, adapt, and validate algorithms, tools, and processing chains for monitoring and evaluation
- Investigate service anomalies and assess impact on users




- Participate in validating new capabilities and evolutions of Galileo, including future generations
- Prepare technical reports, indicators, and client recommendations
- Coordinate activities with software, operations, and data analysis teams and collaborators
- Present results and technical conclusions at project meetings with clients and stakeholders
- Support planning and tracking of tasks, risks, deadlines, and deliverables

Requisitos principales

- GNSS knowledge including Galileo operating principles and performance factors
- Experience in GNSS performance analysis, navigation data processing, or system/product validation
- Ability to interpret monitoring data and assess impact on service/users
- Experience preparing technical documentation and presenting results
- Ability to coordinate technical activities with multidisciplinary teams and clients
- C++ and Python software development
