Experteer Overview
As Cloud Platform Engineer, you design, scale, and maintain HBX’s AWS cloud infrastructure. You will champion IaC with Terraform, drive robust CI/CD pipelines, and ensure security, availability, and cost efficiency. You’ll work with AI-assisted tooling to accelerate coding, testing, and incident response. This role partners with product teams to reduce deployment friction and enable self-service platform capabilities. You join a fast-moving, innovative team shaping the future of travel tech.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Design, provision, and maintain secure, scalable multi-account AWS architectures
• Define and enforce modular Terraform configurations with automated testing and strict state management
• Manage container workloads (ECS/EKS) and serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Integrate AI tools to generate IaC, automate repetitive tasks, and draft infrastructure test cases
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) with security scans and automated tests
• Collaborate with product teams to reduce deployment friction and improve platform self-service
• Establish monitoring and tracing across services (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Apply cloud security best practices:



least-privilege IAM, KMS, secret management, VPC design
• Participate in blameless on-call rotations and lead post-incident reviews
• Monitor cloud spend and drive FinOps initiatives
• Mentor peers on safe AI-assisted coding to balance speed and security

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of professional AWS experience in production environments
• Deep Terraform expertise with reusable modules, remote state, drift handling, and policy-as-code
• AI-first mindset with hands-on AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude/ChatGPT)
• Strong networking fundamentals (VPCs, Subnets, Transit Gateways, Route53, VPNs) and AWS security basics (IAM, KMS, Security Hub)
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, or ECS
• Proficiency in at least one scripting/automation language (Python, Bash, Go)
• Experience with CI/CD automation and GitOps principles
