Experteer Overview
In this role you will support Hitachi Energy’s Madrid Center of Excellence by leading commissioning activities for high-power converters and related systems. You will work with an international team to ensure timely, compliant, and quality-focused deployment of energy conversion solutions. Expect on-site engagements, customer coordination, and hands-on testing that enable renewable integration and grid reliability. Your contribution shapes the deployment of advanced power electronics across projects and sites. This role offers integral travel and hands-on problem solving in a fast, collaborative environment.

Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Plan and execute cold/hot/wet commissioning for power electronic converters
• Manage interface testing, energization (low/high voltage) and documentation
• Coordinate commissioning between customer, internal teams and third parties
• Inspect site installations and test water cooling units
• Ensure timely delivery with focus on quality, cost and regulatory compliance




• Deliver customer and maintenance training on site
• Mobilize quickly for service activities on demand

Responsabilidades
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering (university/technical college)
• Experience in process control and software design (OLC, CLC, Protection, HMI)
• Familiar with industrial communication protocols (OPC, IEC61850, IEC60870-5-104, DNP3)
• Experience in testing and commissioning of power converters or substations
• Fast learner with strong problem solving and structured work approach
• Fluent in English with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel globally (80% on sites)
• Valid driving license (advantage)
