Experteer Overview
As a Senior SIEM Engineer in EY GDS Spain, you design, integrate, and operate SIEM use cases within a Threat Detection u0026amp; Response environment, specializing in Microsoft Sentinel and XDR. You will help clients securely operate modern cloud-native security platforms and contribute to cloud data onboarding, detection, and automation initiatives. Your work supports digital transformation and collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve SOC effectiveness. This role offers hands-on technical leadership and opportunities to shape detection content and response workflows in a global delivery setting.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Integrate data sources into Microsoft Sentinel across cloud, identity, endpoint, network, and on-prem and ensure data quality and normalization
• Design, implement, and operate analytics rules, SIEM use cases, and hunting queries (KQL; SPL experience a plus)
• Develop and maintain playbooks and automations using Azure Logic Apps to enrich, orchestrate, and standardize response workflows
• Act as technical SME for SIEM and Microsoft Sentinel/XDR; provide hands-on guidance to stakeholders




• Optimize SOC operations by leveraging AI capabilities and improving detection, response, and automation
• Contribute to engineering best practices such as documentation, repeatable deployments, and detection/content as code
• Demonstrate strong cloud security knowledge and understanding of SIEM architectures and MITRE ATTu0026CK framework
• Maintain a hands-on engineering mindset with troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and attention to detail

Responsabilidades
• 2-4 years of SIEM engineering experience (design, onboarding, use case development, tuning, operations)
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Windows/Linux, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Experience building or operating SOAR-style automations (Logic Apps / playbooks) in a security context
• English at least B2 (written and spoken)
