- Your Impact This is a hands‐on role at the operational heart of our finance function:
* Own the Daily Books: Post and reconcile business transactions across our international entities, keeping Odoo clean, current and reliable every single day.
* AP, AR & Collections: Process accounts payable and receivable end‐to‐end, and run the dunning process to keep overdue balances moving.
* Payment Runs: Execute payments accurately and on schedule, in line with internal approval procedures.
* Support the Close: Work alongside the Head of Accounting on month‐end and year‐end close, preparing reconciliations and schedules that hold up first time.
* Reporting: Prepare periodic reports and analysis from posted data, giving the Head of Accounting and leadership the numbers they need, when they need them.
* Document Flow: Sort, code and digitally archive supporting documentation, and chase down what's missing before it becomes a problem at close.
* Keep It Lean: Spot the friction in day‐to‐day workflows and help automate it away. Odoo is our single source of truth, so this is about going deeper, not adding new tools. Requirements
- What You Bring
*

Experience:
+4 years in a hands‐on accounting or bookkeeping role, covering AP, AR and month‐end. Experience in a scale‐up or international setting is a strong plus.
* Accuracy Under Volume: You are methodical and detail‐obsessed, and you stay accurate when transaction volumes climb. You would rather flag something early than let it surface at close.
* Knowledge: Solid command of accounting principles and the month‐end close cycle.



Exposure to more than one country or legal entity is a plus
- adaptability matters more than mastery of one country's rules.

Qualifications:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Part‐qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent is a bonus, not a requirement.
* Language: Fluency in English is a must, and proficiency in additional European languages, especially German, French, or Dutch, is a strong advantage.
* Mindset: You take ownership of your work without needing to be chased, and you are comfortable asking questions early rather than guessing.
* Tech: You are a fan of automation and have experience with modern accounting software / ERP tools. We run Odoo as our central ERP, so hands‐on Odoo experience is a real plus. You prefer digital‐first workflows over paper trails. Benefits
