Overview

As Project Director for Project Avanté, you will steer the program from business case to handover, aligning with growth plans, sustainability targets and financial objectives. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage risks and external partners, and ensure operational readiness and value realization. This strategic role combines governance, change leadership and senior stakeholder engagement to deliver a major transformation in a general manufacturing context. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment to shape capabilities, adoption of automation, and value for the business and customers.

Responsabilidades

- Provide strategic leadership and governance with responsibility for the Project Avanté strategy and execution roadmap
- Lead cross-functional integration across engineering, procurement, operations, quality, EHS, supply chain and external partners
- Approve scope, strategy, schedule and budget baselines; manage risks and ensure regulatory and company standards
- Drive project financials including forecasts, contingencies, ROI, NPV and cost-control processes
- Establish risk management, compliance and safety frameworks and foster a zero-harm culture




- Act as primary executive interface; manage communications with the Executive Leadership Team and sponsors
- Lead organizational readiness and transformation, promoting automation and digital manufacturing adoption
- Ensure commissioning, start-up, handover and post-startup performance review with KPI tracking
- Develop leadership capability within the project team and support succession planning

Requisitos principales

- 15+ years in manufacturing operations with exposure to supply chain, quality or materials management
- 8+ years of progressive people management experience
- Experience in large-scale international projects; automation, digital manufacturing and transformation programs
- Strong understanding of LEAN, product industrialization, change management and business process/system redesign
- Financial literacy including OPEX/CAPEX, with ability to review NPV, ROI and payback
- PMP/PMI Certification or PRINCE2 Practitioner; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt; Program Management Certification
- MBA or Master's Degree in a technical field (preferred)
