Join NextPort.AI, a Tech u0026amp; Innovation spin-off of Moffatt u0026amp; Nichol, building a 360 Operational Digital Twin for ports and terminals. You will develop cloud-based apps using Angular and Java Spring Boot within a microservices ecosystem, working with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions. You’ll own design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance across the full Software Development Lifecycle. This role offers impact on digitalization that improves efficiency, safety, sustainability, and resilience in maritime operations. You will contribute to an evolving tech-driven product that connects processes, data, and systems at scale.

Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Design, develop, and maintain web features using Java (Spring Boot)
• Contribute to full software development lifecycle: design, implement, test, deploy, maintain
• Collaborate with Product Managers and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into solutions
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and contribute to event-driven integrations using Kafka
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code following best practices




• Participate in code reviews and improve team standards
• Create intuitive, responsive UI from UX/UI designs
• Troubleshoot defects and performance issues
• Create automated tests to ensure quality of features

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Responsabilidades
• Minimum 5 years in Backend development (Java)
• Minimum 3 years in Frontend development (Angular)
• Hands-on Angular and TypeScript experience
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Experience designing or consuming RESTful APIs
• Understanding of microservices and asynchronous communication
• Knowledge of clean code and best practices
• Experience with automated testing for frontend and backend
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, team-oriented with good communication
• Fluency in English
• Pre-employment background check per NIST 800-171
