Join Arup Madrid as a Civil Engineer in the Water team, contributing to national and international water projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary network to design and assess water infrastructure with a focus on long-term economic, environmental, and social outcomes. You’ll grow technical skills through hands-on delivery and mentoring, while delivering solutions that support communities and sustainability. This role offers early-career engineers a chance to shape water systems and collaborate across Arup’s global network.

• Support the design of water infrastructure, including water supply networks, drainage systems, reservoirs and flood protection solutions
• Contribute to different project stages from bids and feasibility studies to concept, schematic and detailed design
• Prepare calculations, technical reports, drawings, specifications and other design deliverables
• Assist with hydraulic, hydrological and civil engineering assessments as needed
• Coordinate with engineers and specialists from other disciplines on multidisciplinary projects
• Participate in meetings with colleagues, clients and project stakeholders

Responsabilidades
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 1 to 3 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in water infrastructure, drainage, utilities, hydraulic structures or flood risk management
• Knowledge and experience with design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS and hydraulic modelling software (Infoworks, InfoDrainage, Epanet, SewerGEMS, WaterCAD)
• Proficient in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Proactive attitude, attention to detail and motivation to deliver high-quality work
• Interest in developing technical expertise in the water sector and positive community/environmental impact
