Experteer Overview
In this role you design and integrate mechanical structural components for GE Vernova wind turbines, contributing to reliable field operation. You work with cross-functional teams to fit components into the turbine architecture and uphold quality standards. You’ll apply systems thinking to minimize ripple effects when making changes and tackle tough technical challenges that improve efficiency and reliability. This is a hands-on role with growth opportunities guided by senior engineers, offering meaningful impact on general wind projects.

• Design and develop mechanical structural components (composites, metallic structures, cranes, seals, louvers) for wind turbines
• Collaborate with System, Sub-System, and Component Engineers to integrate designs into turbine architecture
• Own detailed engineering specifications and drawings for sourcing components, ensuring quality standards
• Conduct risk assessments and create mitigation plans including DFMEA, design verification, and validation test plans




• Support resolution of safety and functional issues on turbines in the field
• Apply systems-thinking to understand ripple effects of component changes across the turbine
• Incorporate standard design practices, tools, and lessons learned to improve the team's design approach

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or related field (minimum)
• Some experience in product design and development within wind or comparable industry
• Proficiency with CAD tools, ideally Unigraphics NX 3D-CAD
• Proficiency with CAE tools, ideally Ansys, and PLM systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team coordination
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
