As a Pre-Sales Engineer or Application Engineer, you combine technical expertise with application know-how to deliver tailored processing solutions that boost operational performance. You collaborate with customers and sales teams from demonstrations to design, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the journey. You contribute to solution development, performance validation, and continuous improvement, aligning with TOMRA Food’s mission to enhance food safety and reduce waste. This role offers impact across product design, system integration, and customer-facing support.

• Support the consultative sales process as a technical and application expert
• Analyze customer processes and requirements to design tailored solutions
• Prepare technical specs, solution designs, performance analyses, quotations, and documentation
• Design and evaluate processing systems and integrated solutions, including third-party equipment
• Conduct product demonstrations, field trials, testing, and performance optimization
• Analyze performance and data to identify optimization opportunities
• Provide technical guidance on equipment configuration and application performance
• Deliver technical presentations, webinars, workshops, and reference visits
• Support Sales and Service with application training and customer-facing support
• Assess requirements to recommend balanced, reliable, scalable, and cost-effective solutions




• Perform design reviews with cross-functional teams and enable project handover
• Maintain solution documentation and resources in central systems
• Monitor industry trends and competitor capabilities to inform solution development
• Share knowledge and best practices across TOMRA Food
• Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Automation, or equivalent industry experience
• Experience in Agri-Tech, food processing, automation, or related industries
• Spanish and English proficiency
• Experience supporting customers through sales, service, or technical roles
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles and technical documentation
• Experience with system design, process evaluation, and equipment integration
• Knowledge of CAD and design software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar)
• Structured problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making
• Strong customer-focused communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 30% within the EMEA region
• Valid driving license and work permit where required
