2D Pixel Artist Mid – Senior Level

We are looking for a 2D Pixel Artist Mid – Senior Level to join our team.

A 2D pixel art portfolio is required in order to evaluate the application.

Responsibilities

- Creation of art, elements/props, characters, scenery, tiles, parallax elements, etc.

- Work collaboratively with the rest of the art team and other departments, such as design and programming.

- Adapt and contribute work to the art director’s guidelines.

- Be able to adapt and optimize the creations based on the needs of the project.

Requirements

- At least 3 years of professional experience in video game development as a pixel artist.

- Have participated in the artistic design of at least one video game previously.

- Portfolio showcasing production-quality pixel art created for shipped or commercially released games is highly valued.

- Knowledge of the artistic pipeline of a videogame project.

- Ability to implement and adapt feedback.

- Good teamwork in artistic creation.

- Adobe Photoshop and/or Aseprite.

Preferred Qualifications

- Creation of concept art, sketches and preliminary work of environments.

- Be able to work with agile methodologies.

- Knowledge of the basic elements of level design and its relation with art.

- English,



minimum B1 (desirable B2 or higher).

Additional information

Type of contract:

Long term position. 40 hours/week contract.

From 36k euros gross annual salary, commensurate with experience.

We are based in Tenerife and Seville. For this role, we have a preference for candidates located in or able to work from our Seville office, though remote work is also available.

You might be required to attend up to 2 per-team and 2 company-wide team-building activities each year, travel and accommodation provided by the company.
