At Intertek, we are currently looking for an experienced Expeditor to join a major LNG / Oil & Gas project based in Tarragona, Spain.The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and expediting the procurement and manufacturing process of critical equipment and materials, ensuring that suppliers meet project schedules, quality requirements, and contractual commitments.Key responsibilities:

Monitor manufacturing progress and delivery schedules for critical equipment and materialsFollow up on purchase orders, manufacturing milestones, inspections, and shipment datesCoordinate closely with suppliers, subcontractors, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Project Management teamsIdentify potential delays and supply chain risks and ensure timely corrective actionsAttend supplier progress meetings and prepare regular expediting reportsFollow up on technical documentation, certificates, and documentation required for shipmentSupport supplier visits and manufacturing inspections when requiredMaintain accurate and up-to-date project expediting records and reportingRequirements





Previous experience as an Expeditor / Procurement Expeditor in industrial projectsExperience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Energy, or major EPC projectsGood understanding of procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain processesExperience working with international suppliers and subcontractorsAbility to understand and follow up on technical and contractual documentationGood level of English, both written and spokenWillingness to travel occasionally to supplier/manufacturer facilitiesStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsProactive, detail-oriented, and results-oriented approachEligibility to work in Spain and travel throughout the European UnionTravel Requirement:

Approximately 25% within Europe, primarily GermanyBenefits
