OverviewAs a Controls Project Engineer, you lead the design, development, and commissioning of advanced automation control systems for sorting and material handling.

You will collaborate with clients, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust solutions across international projects.

The role covers the full lifecycle from concept to on-site start-up and optimization, emphasizing safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

This position offers exposure to modern PLC/IPC platforms and a chance to shape automation in the logistics sector.

ResponsabilidadesDesign, program, and commission sortation and automated material handling systems using PLCs and FSC platforms

Develop and maintain control system documentation including functional descriptions and architectures

Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration and performance

Lead on-site commissioning and troubleshoot issues during start-up and ramp-up





Act as interface between clients and suppliers to clarify requirements and resolve technical challenges

Deliver system training to operations and maintenance teams

Monitor performance during ramp-up, analyze incidents, and propose corrective actions

Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards, processes, and QA

Ensure compliance with safety standards and industrial regulations

Requisitos principalesSolid knowledge of industrial automation and control systems

Hands-on PLC programming experience (Siemens TIA Portal, ProfiSafe, Allen-Bradley)

Understanding of TCP/IP communication protocols

Experience with SCADA/HMI and fieldbus technologies (Profinet, Profibus, ASi)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in control logic design and debugging

Ability to read electrical schematics and produce technical documentation

Professional communication in Spanish and English (min B2)

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~50%)

Proven on-site commissioning and troubleshooting experience analytical thinking clear communication collaborative mindset
